In America, we have a great nation that was founded on the principals of God and His Word. Have we always been perfect and have we always done things the way they should be done and have we never made mistakes? Absolutely not! We have made many mistakes and we have never had leaders who were perfect and without fault either.
We are a nation of people who are of many different colors, backgrounds and beliefs. If we want to continue as a free nation, we need to find some common ground that we can unify on or we will cease to be a free nation. As long as we fight against each other because of the wrong actions and hatred of a few, we will continue to degenerate as a nation. Because of the few that hate and stir up trouble, we cannot stereotype people and divide the masses. It is a horrible thing that slavery and segregation is a part of our history, but calling all whites racists and white supremacists is not going to fix anything.
The media and a few rich elites want nothing more than to destroy this nation by getting us to destroy ourselves by fighting against each other. Why would they do this? Power and control. They cannot control and have power over a nation that has freedom. Especially one that has been founded on a government that is of the people, by the people, for the people.
I urge you, brothers, to watch out for those who cause divisions and put obstacles in your way that are contrary to the teaching you have learned. Keep away from them. For such people are not serving our Lord Christ, but their own appetites. By smooth talk and flattery they deceive the minds of naive people. Romans 16:17-18
The only way we can unify is if we have some kind of standard to unify on. In America, the unifying principal is the truths of God’s Word which is what this nation was founded on. God’s Word has been taken out of education and is being fought against in every other area of our lives. This causes people to be ignorant about what God actually has to say to us and we have begun to rely on what Hollywood elites tell us, the media elites tell us and news outlets who actually oppose the things of God tell us. The only way to truly know what God teaches us about Himself, us and the way He created things to be is to read it for ourselves and not just take someone else’s opinion on it.
If we are all human and created by God, why is there any racism at all? God tells us because of sin. We are all born with a sin nature that came from the fall of man when Adam and Eve sinned in the garden. God tells us that “all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” Romans 3:23. And that “the wages of sin is death” (Romans 6:23a), meaning a separation from God. So, is there anything that we can do about this on our own apart from God? No, we cannot do it in our own human strength, because it is not strength that we need, it is a heart change that we need. God wants us to not just have the strength to do something, but have the desire to do something which will give us the strength to do it with the right motives. Not just for a personal gain or to win a battle, but to glorify God with our actions. The second part of Romans 6:23 says; but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. God wants to change the sinful nature that we were born with into a new creation that desires His ways over the ways of the sinful nature; Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come! 2 Corinthians 5:17
So how do we receive this new life in Christ?
That if you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. Romans 10:9
When we trust in God not just as our Savior, but as the Lord in our lives, it becomes life transforming. We begin to be able to see things through a new lens that God gives us rather than through the lens of the sinful nature that we were born with.
God is against racism and superiority over another person when we are in Christ;
There is neither Jew nor Gentile, neither slave nor free, nor is there male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus. Galatians 3:28.
God wants us to love all people and not just the ones that are nice to us and agree with us;
Love your neighbor as yourself Matthew 22:39b.
But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you Matthew 5:44.
He also tells us about respecting our leaders;
Everyone must submit himself to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which God has established. The authorities that exist have been established by God. Consequently, he who rebels against the authority is rebelling against what God has instituted, and those who do so will bring judgment on themselves. Romans 13:1-2
If we want to save our nation from destruction from within, we need to come together and reject the division of racism. Black, white, brown, male or female, we all need to come together to save our country from those few that would want to divide us and ultimately destroy us as a nation! God can and will give us the ability and strength to do this if we put our trust, hope and unity in Him!
